Now it’s easier than ever to produce organic compost – and in weeks, not the months that outdoor composting requires. This ingenious compact unit brings composting into the garage or utility room and, if the simple instructions are properly followed, makes the process clean and fast. Every two weeks, you’ll have a supply of nitrogen-rich soil amendment for the garden. At the same time, you’re helping reduce the household waste sent to landfills. The unit accepts most food scraps (including dairy, meat and fish) and automatically mixes, heats and aerates them. Once the process is complete, it transfers the composted mixture to the lower chamber for curing and easy removal. You can continue to add food daily; a powerful carbon filter absorbs odors.

Music From Sand by Diego Stocco. Turned tones extracted from sand extraed from sand with a contact micphone. “I had some sandbags in the backyard that I used in November during a rainy day. I was moving them to a different spot when I heard the noise of the sand. I thought that maybe I could try a new sound design technique so I bought some piezo film transducers and started to experiment with them. The entire track is created only out of tuned sand tones. No additional sounds or waveforms.
