“Contrail is a tool for developing bicycle communities”. It attaches on the wheels of a bike that applies a thin layer of colored chalk to a bike’s tire. As you ride, contrail leaves a faint chalk line behind your bike. This concept created by Studio Gelardi.

Lunocet is a 2.5-pound (1.1-kilogram) monofin made of carbon fiber and fiberglass that attaches to an aluminum foot plate at a precise 30-degree angle. The fin spans almost 42-inch(a meter) wide, which with three times the surface area of conventional swim fins.

The ‘Link’ scooter system is designed as a modular transport solution that can be retrofitted to existing Streetscape Smart Poles. It allows users to hire a small lightweight electronic scooter from a hub and ride to the desired destination and then return the scooter to another hub, where it is recharged. Colgate Palmolive in Thailand has started giving out ice creams and candy at annual events like Oral Health Month to remind target consumers, especially kids, to take better care of their teeth after eating sweets. The stick carrying the ice cream and cotton candy carries a hidden message. Once consumers have finished eating, the message printed on the tip of the stick shaped like a toothbrush reveals “Don’t Forget” with the Colgate logo. The Valentines Day Card was designed at Junior Brisbane by executive creative director Steve Minon, creative director Jonathan Drapes, art director Sharon Edmonstron, copywriter Misha McDonald.

In 1855, when Jose da Fonseca and Pedro Carolino wrote an English phrasebook for Portuguese students, they faced just one problem: they didn’t know any English. Even worse, they didn’t own an English-to-Portuguese dictionary. What they did have, though, was a Portuguese-to-French dictionary, and a French-to-English dictionary. The linguistic train wreck that ensued is a classic of unintentional humor, now revived in the first newly selected edition in a century. Armed with Fonseca and Carolino’s guide, a Portuguese traveler can insult a barber (“What news tell me? All hairs dresser are newsmonger”), complain about the orchestra (“It is a noise which to cleve the head”), go hunting (“let aim it! let make fire him”), and consult a handy selection of truly mystifying “Idiotisms and Proverbs.”
