Garrett Wade Workbench
This heavy-duty bench, weighing in at a substantial 260 lbs., is the first full-sized bench we have seen with a large, general purpose storage cabinet and shelves. At this size and storage capacity, it’s an extraordinary value. Made of solid European Red Beechwood, it features a big bench with a 20″ wide shoulder vise (capacity 9-3/4″) on the front face and a solid tail vise with a fitted row of bench dogs along the front edge. The top is sized 24 x 74-1/2″ (including the rear tool tray), for a total of 12-1/2 sq ft. Height 33-3/4″. The solid base includes a very large, lockable storage cabinet. The top comes pre-assembled, while assembly of the base and cabinet should not take more than an hour or so.
