Low Impact Home Workout – No Equipment Needed

Two big advantages to exercising at home come down to cost and convenience. Typically, you can do home exercise programs anywhere, anytime. Plus, with a low impact home workout, you can start immediately, no matter what level you’re at.

However, many aerobics videos, jump rope and even calisthenics like jumping jacks are high impact. If you have bad knees, a painful back or are trying to recover from an injury, these workouts aren’t easy on the joints. They simply won’t give you any benefits.

Consider a Low Impact Stair Stepper

The steppers themselves don’t go very high, so it’s easier than climbing a bunch of stairs. However, it’s a great machine for using in front of the TV or while you are talking on the phone – plus it’s light enough that you can pick it up and carry it anywhere.

Regularly moving your body in a variety of different movements will help keep your body more flexible and joints fluid. Sitting all day at a desk or poor sleeping positions can make a significant impact on your body over time. Simply moving more can work wonders. Just try an exercise ball workout!
