Sony Japan introduced the touch-screen DSC-T700 and DSC-T77 today, a refresh to their popular T-Series Cyber-Shot cameras. Both models will be released in Japan on September 5th and most likely worldwide soon thereafter. The DSC-T700 will be available in red, pink, gold, silver, and gray while the DSC-T77 will be available in black, silver, green, pink, brown. It is not immediately clear to Sony Insider whether these colors will be available worldwide, as it is common for Sony to release limited colors in different regions. Common features between the cameras are 10.1 effective megapixels (Super HAD CCD), Smile Shutter, Carl Zeiss “Barrio TESSA” 4x Optical Zoom, the high-quality image processing engine “BIONZ”, a revamped image stabilization system, and a variety of new software features.
