In one way or another we are all looking for happiness. Some people even say that man’s sole purpose for existence is to hunt down and capture this intangible and elusive treasure. In 2006 researchers at The University of Leicester concluded that Denmark is the happiest country in the world – this was good enough for Alex Ostrowski. In March 2008 he made the decision to visit happiness, and embarked upon a pilgrimage to find it. The findings are within the pages of his creation The Happiest Book and only one copy exist.

The chair is considered one of the paradigms of industrial design. Its reflection has been based, among others, in ergonomic, aesthetic, sociological, anthropological and economic analysis. Nevertheless the chair that is a part of east project takes into account an additional factor: the present invisible fields in the homes and places of work.
