Smart Way to Soften New Sheets
We have all bought new sheets at some point in our life, and we have all put them into the wash soon as we got home. But don’t you hate it when you get the new sheets out of the dryer hoping for that warm and fuzzy feeling, then the rude awakening of sand paper. Yeah good times. Well here are 5 steps we came across from our friends over at SundryBuzz.
1. Wash them on the hottest setting
2. Use no detergent (the idea is that new sheets have chemicals on them and detergent just makes it worse)
3. Add lots of fabric softener
4. Dump in a cup or so of baking soda during the wash cycle
5. Take them out of the dryer as soon as they are dry, rather than leaving them to sit in there for a while
